Elias Disney (december 5, 1901 –
december 15, 1996) was an American animated film producer and animator.
He was also the creato of an American-based theme park called disneyland, and
the founder of the highly profitable corporation, now know as The Walt Disney
Company.
Disney Was Born in Chicago to Elias
Disney and Flora Call. He was named after his father and after his father’s
close friend Walter parr, the minister at St.Paul Congregational Chrunch. In
1906, his family moved to a farm near marceline, Missouri . the family sold the
farm in 1909 and lived in a rented house until 1910, when they moved to kansas
city. Disney was nine years old at the time.
According to the Kansas city,
Missouri, Public School District record, Disney began attending the Bentn
Gramar school in 1911, and continued his formal education there until he
greduated on june 8, 1917. During this time , Disney also enrolled in classes
at the kansas city art institute. In the fall of 1917, Disney rejoined his
family. He left school at he age sixteen and became a volunteer ambulance
driver in World War I, after he changed his birth certificate to show his year
of birth as 1900 in order to be able to
enlist in the service. He served as a membr of the american red cross ambulance
force in france till 1919

Komodo Dragon
Komodo dragon is a member of the monitor family, Varanidae, it is the world’s largest living lizard. It grows to be 10 feet ( 3 meter ) long and weighs uo to 126 kg and belongs to the most ancient group of lizard still alive.
It is found mainly inthr island of komodo and on other small island, Rinca, Padar and Flores. The natives call the dragon, ora, or buaya darat (land crocodile).
The komodo dragon has long heavy tail, short, strong legs, and rough skin. It is covered with small dull, colored scales. It can sprint at up 18 km per hour, but only for short distances. When it opens its wide red mouth, its shows rows of teeth like the edge of saw.
Komodo dragons are good swimmers and may swim the long distances from one island to another. Like other lizard, they swim by udulating their tails, and their legs held against their body.
The komodo dragon is totally carnivorous. It hunts other animals during the day. It hunts deer, wild pigs, water buffaloes, and horses. While samller komodos have to be content with eggs other lizards, snakes, and rodent. Komodo dragons are cannibals. The adult will prey on he young ones as well as the old and sick dragons.
The lizard digs a cave with is strong claws in the cave night.

Picasso was one of the most outstanding and important artist of the 1900’s. He is best known for this paintings. Almost every stylein modern art is representedin picasso’s works.
Picasso was born in 1881 in malaga, spain as the son of an art teacher. He studied painting from his father and his college level course of study at the academy of arts in madrid.
From about 1895 to 1901, he painted realistic works in the traditional style. Then the entered what was called the blue period during this time, he only used shades of blue in his paintings to show the proverty he saw in barcelona.
After 1908, he entered into the style of cubism. Among his well-know cubist paintings are “three musicians” and “man with guitar”
